One of the worst encounters one could have when riding the train is when they miss the train because they are not familiar with the schedule. There are times when the schedule is very important - especially when coordinating travel for large business trips and important engagements. Or perhaps you want to spend the day in New York City or Philadelphia - knowing the train times are important so you can schedule your day accordingly.
It is not really very difficult to memorize the NJ transit schedule. In fact, trains are pretty regular and usually arrive on time. The Hudson-Bergen Light rail has a train which arrives every five minutes on weekdays. The Newark Light Rail/City Subway has a train which arrives every fifteen minutes on weekdays. The River Line has a train schedule of about 13 minutes between each train on weekdays.
The New Jersey Transit Train Schedule is quite easy to memorize. Keeping a few things in mind, it will be convenient for the commuter to travel from one stop to the next.
